Fastest economical green time-to-market + lead time

Sustainability is becoming increasingly important for consumers and the topic features prominently at industry conferences. Alarmingly, an estimated 30% of the food produced for human consumption is currently wasted within the food supply chain, according to a study by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).

Shipping liquids in single-use formats (bottles & cans), drums or intermediate bulk containers (IBC) is prohibiting food loss reduction. There are many distant places where foreign beverages are drunk and liquid food is eaten. Due to the long transit time and the lengthy supply chain, production needs to be planned long in advance. As a result, manufacturers of perishable goods are taking a big gamble on customer behaviour, the weather and market sentiment.  Once arrived at the point of consumption, remaining shelf live is also limited and flexibility is constrained.

Using the Mega-Inliner® System, time-2-market and lead time are minimized. This reduces the need for long-term forecasting and maximizes remaining shelf live, ensuring the quickest possible reaction to changing trends, weather forecasts and specific consumer demands.
